Organic and aqueous feeds are pumped to opposing inlets at the desired flow and ratio. 

The liquid phases are mixed between the surfaces of the spinning rotor and stationary housing. 
Mixed liquid phases are pulled into the rotor and separated.

Multiple units can be connected in series for countercurrent applications or in parallel for concurrent steps with no intermediate pumps or tanks required.
